QUICK PIZZA DOUGH
2 3/4 - 3 1/4 ALL PURPOSE FLOUR, 1 PKG OF YEAST, 1 CUP WARM WATER, 1 TBS COOKING OIL. ADD WATER, OIL, YEAST AND ABOUT 1 CUP OF THE FLOUR. MIX AND LET SIT FOR ABOUT 2 MINUTES. ADD REMAINING FLOUR TILL DOUGH. LET RISE ABOUT 15 MINUTES. I ALSO ADDED ABOUT A TSP OF SUGAR TO ACTIVATE THE YEAST FASTER. YOU CAN ALSO USE WHEAT FLOUR OR HALF AND HALF. IT'S YUMMY AND QUICK. ENJOY!

Gone A Long Time-June 12, 20012
Wow! I can't believe how long it has been since posting on our blog. I have missed the creativity of it and sharing with family and friends. It is amazing how a few days turn into a few weeks, then months, then years. So much has changed. I hope to rekindle my love for blogging and keep this as our families history. We have many friends and loved ones far a way and hope to be able to re connect with you. So I'll just start with the events of the past few days. Chris was home yesterday after having been working for 6 days. We took the kids to the rec center where we swam in the pool for about an hour (I will have to get pictures of the summer swimming later). We packed up after an hour. Not to hard to get the kids to pack up since rain clouds were rolling in and it was sprinkling. We went to Franklin and got a Sam's club membership and then spent the next 2 hours going through the store and looking at all the cool stuff and tasting the free samples. Chris wanted to get stuff for home made pizzas. After purchases were made we headed home and I got started on some home made pizza dough. Very Quick recipe I got from Holly. (I'll share at a later time). All the kids helped out cleaning up the kitchen and helping dad make the pizzas. We had the pandora radio on and enjoyed our family time cooking in the kitchen. The pizza's were amazing. They looked and tasted just like they came from a pizzaeria. MM MM Good!! Today, I taught Eve and Amelia how to sew. They have been pestering me for weeks to help them sew. I first showed them how to use a needle and thread and we fixed a strap on a little purse that had come off. I pulled the big tub out of the closet and let them look through all the fabric. They each chose and had some very grand ideas as to what they were going to make. One of which was a stuffed horse. I told them they needed to learn how to sew straight lines first. So I cut out a pattern from a paper bag and showed them how to lay the pattern on the fabric, pin, then cut. They got to push the pedal on the machine, guide the fabric and pretty soon a pillow case was complete. They were soooo proud of themselves, even though Amelia was nervous about pushing the pedal. I guess it is noisy and when you push it all the way down it goes REALLY fast. I did get some pictures but they are one my new phone and I'll have to figure out how to get them from the phone to the computer. Eve, Ethan and Amelia also had fun today play guitar Hero with Daddy. They always enjoy daddy time. It is 10:30 and My pillow is calling me. Sweet Dreams.

Up Dates
March 2nd 2010, was a beautiful wet snow. Snow stuck around for several days. The kids had a great time. Chris helped the girls build the snowman. We got about 4 inches altogether
This is Noah and his Jr. Pro Basket ball team at their last game. They were undefeated for the whole season. ( I thought the season would never end because games kept being canceled because of snowy weather) Noah is the last kid on the right.
Eve's First Valentine Box to collect all her valentines from her school party. Amelia also made one. They enjoyed the creativity and Eve came home with lots of goodies in her box.

Cheerleading and Basketball
Today was the first games for Junior Pro basketball. Eve's cheer team cheered in the morning. Noah played his game in the afternoon. The whole family went to cheer Noah on. Ethan was very afraid of the buzzer. Noah played 3 quarters and did a super job for this being his first time playing. They won 26-16. It was just right in length and not to crowded. The girls had fun just playing around on the bleachers. I got a couple of video clips of both of them today. I hope you all enjoy.

All Together for Christmas!!!!
It doesn't happen very often these days now that many of my syblings are married and live further away. So this Christmas was extra special to have all of my syblings here. That's right all 10 kids plus spouses, plus all the grandkids under one roof at my parents house. We took the opportunity to capture it with a family photo. I will post more of the 4 days of togetherness.
